I provide supervision to new professionals for their counseling and/or art therapy credentials.
Finding and developing a relationship with a qualified and supportive supervisor is one of the best decisions a new graduate can make upon finding their first job. Sometimes that first year of working can seem overwhelming and having the support of a strong supervisor can feel like someone is on your team, providing guidance and reflection for your new role as a clinician. I provide supervision for counselors and art therapists who seek reflective, engaging, and thought-provoking supervision. I have a passion for supervising - and know that a supervisor is a leader who continually seeks to improve her own work.
I am an approved supervisor for the Missouri Committee for Professional Counselors and know the ins and outs of the board requirements for the supervisory relationship, helping to guide PLPCs through ethical concerns, clinical case consultations, and the importance of ongoing professional development.
I also received the title Art Therapy Certified Supervisor from the Art Therapy Credentials Board, signaling advanced training in continuing education and completion of supervision for graduate students and new professionals. I have supervised many art therapists through the transition between graduation and applying for their ATR, exploring the impact of how to talk about the image created in an art therapy session, art therapy group dynamics, and advocating for oneself and one's clients when the art is misunderstood.
I offer varying rates based on the type of supervision and depending on individual or group format. Please contact me for current rates and available openings or with any questions. |
